Tradition and history of company’s production dates back to the 1930s, when it was part of the Bata production concern. In 1992, a separate company named ZPS – FRÉZOVACÍ NÁSTROJE a.s. was founded within the ZPS holding, which was divided into two departments. It is divided into a tool production department and a tempering department.
Currently ZPS – FRÉZOVACÍ NÁSTROJE a.s. is the largest Czech manufacturer and one of the most significant manufacturers of high-speed steel milling cutters on the European market. The range of products exceeds the European competition in this segment of tools.
The main products in tool production today are standardized (DIN) and special milling cutters made of 4 quality levels of high-speed steel (HSSE-PM, HSSCo8, HSSCo5, HSS). By investing in new technologies, company gradually expanding the possibilities of producing special tools according to customer requirements, which currently occupy about 20% of the production capacity.
Subfina is specialized in sharpening of special carbide cutting tools, and support companies in the sector of mechanical processing of automotive components and the general mechanical industry.
